Meet Paulo Toledo – our friend from Brazil!

Paulo grew up on a coffee farm as his grandad was a local coffee farmer. Sadly his parents weren’t as interested in farming and sold their farms leaving Paulo with only one – Bananal that he inherited directly from his grandfather. But Paulo has always been very driven and ambitious and now, together with his two sisters, own 9 farms of 320 hectares in total.

Paulo has our respect for how he cares about his employees. Apart from providing not only basic but supplemental health insurance to them and their families, he also footed the bill for several of his farmer’s kids’ education – giving them better opportunities in the labor market.
