ABOUT COFFEE EMBASSY EU
We are a team of enthusiastic dedicated professionals from Prague (Czechia) who take coffee seriously, thoroughly and in wide context. We are deeply committed to all aspects of coffee – from coffee quality to environmental and social consequences and conditions.
We have been in coffee business for more than twenty years and ever since our initial trip to Ethiopia we’ve been gathering experience in various areas of coffee business, including founding a roastery & cafés – mamacoffee in close cooperation with coffee farmers. In 2012 we founded Prague Coffee Festival to promote several topics connected to specialty coffee. We are grateful to Czech Development Agency which supported our projects.
Since 2000 our team members visited many coffee-growing countries and were witnesses to various approaches to coffee cultivation and met with different people who make their living growing coffee.
Today we operate in two coffee destinations – Nicaragua and Brazil.

Sustainable & ecological
- Sustainable crop management
- Biodiversity of the coffee farms, intercropping with other cash crops (Nicaragua, Brazil)
- Water management – reducing water waste from coffee processing, irrigation from the rain water, mulching, landslide prevention (Nicaragua, Brazil)
- Waste treatment – composting of organic matter, control of the dangerous waste management
- Organic pest prevention experiments (Nicaragua)
